< Back to Roadmap

We thank the many partners and contributors who developed this Racial Equity Culture Change Roadmap with us:

  • Special thanks to the racial equity practitioners who met with businesses, shared their expertise and insights, and collaborated on these recommendations: Kheoshi OwensAshnie ButlerVictoria LaraMichelle Helman, & Court Morse

  • The 16 businesses who engaged on this project specifically, meeting with the equity practitioners to advise on business needs and share their equity journeys.

  • Prosper Portland’s Council for Economic and Racial Equity, which provided guidance and support in ensuring we maintained a racial and economic equity lens, and in particular, the Portland Means Progress CERE Subcommittee members, Christine Chin Ryan, Freda Ceasar, and Michelle DePass.

  • The Mayor’s Council of Economic Advisors, who identified Diversity, Equity & Inclusion training as a key need for the business community in the City of Portland, and who have continued to provide input and guidance as Portland Means Progress has been developed.

  • The individuals who attended the Portland Means Progress Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Input Sessions in December 2018, who volunteered their time and expertise and advised us to slow down the development of this roadmap.

  • The Portland Means Progress Early Adopter Businesses who have been helping to inform and build this initiative. A special thanks to those businesses who attended the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Focus Group Meeting in July 2019.

  • Court Morse, Equity & Inclusion Program Manager for Prosper Portland at the time of the roadmap’s launch, who authored much of the roadmap content.

  • April Black, who created the icons for the roadmap.

Racial equity work cannot be done alone, and we are grateful to the many individuals who contributed to this project, and to those who will help us as we continue to develop it moving forward!
